Another anime based on a teen harem visual novel

Junichi is an almost reformed chuunibyou who is surrounded by hallmark visual novel highschool girls: the reliable not-blood related imouto, tsundere love interest, well-endowed childhood friend, self-centred ojou-sama, playful sempai, alien kouhai, etc...

Every episode is full of antics, and it doesn't really go into "dark" places the way Shuffle! does. So if you're looking for light-hearted fun with a just a bit more than a tad of innuendo, it's a great series to watch. The anime tries to make you spend more time laughing at Junichi, rather than envying him, and it pulls it off well.

7 / 10

Similar anime you might like:
* Da Capo (similar animation style, at least in age, but DC has a slightly more serious undertone)
* Final Approach (a bit older than AInSS, it also has a more serious undertone, and its protagonist isn't as fun)
* Gift Eternal Rainbow (animation style not as good as AInSS, again, a bit more serious)
* Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi (bit more fun than the above anime)
* Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenyoku de Jama Shiteiru (fun all the way)
* ToHeart 2

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
