When I watched the first episode of this, I got bored after the first 3 min. Then I decided to give another chance, the end of the first episode was amazing. I continued, and I've realized a pattern in this anime. The beginning of every arc is amazing, compelling, glues you to the screen. The end is unsatisfying, annoying and makes you reconsider why on God's green earth did you decide on watching this. The animation was a tad bit annoying; I did not understand why the noses stopped half way >>" The story -was- good, but really there are somethings that got on my nerves, and some obvious loose ends by the end of it that were never tied up. And after watching something like Naruto, where they enter wars to fight for their 'bonds' you find this, where people cut off their 'bonds' for war and they make it seem ... heroic? To me it's plain selfish and double standard especially concerning the male protagonist Wil. He was the biggest disappointment ... very promising and logical, cunning the first half of the series ... then ... Well, you can watch it for yourself, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't compelled to a certain extent, I just wish it was better.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
