In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers. |

This anime is one of the awesomest anime that one could ever see. I liked this anime because the whole story was interesting and just kept you watching it the whole time, there is no part in the anime where it makes you dislike the anime itself. Sometimes it's sad, sometimes it's happy and sometimes it's mysterious, those three elements that were added together blended into the wonderful story that it became. Angel Beats! is one of the best anime I have ever seen! The openings and endings are wonderful too, and the subtitles are the best ones too! The story may be short with 13 episodes, but in 13 episodes, the story had drawn my heart out, and the last episode was heartbreaking too! I recommend anyone to try watching this anime!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
