| Summary: |
26 years ago, in a third-year classroom of a middle school, there was a student named Misaki. As an honors student who was also good at sports, the charming girl was popular with her classmates. When she suddenly died, her classmates decided to carry on as if she was still alive until graduation. Then, in the spring of 1998, a boy named Sakakibara Kouichi transfers to that classroom, and he grows suspicious of the fearful atmosphere in that classroom. In particular, there is a beautiful, aloof girl named Misaki Mei who wears an eyepatch and is always alone drawing pictures.Drawn to her mysterious aura, Kouichi tries to touch her, only to discover that the mystery goes deeper than he ever thought. |

My first horror anime.

I think the plot is quite interesting, I didn't expect many things. After delving into the story more I got really into the anime and it had me anticipating what would happen next. I have to say that for an anime, the horror component is of course, less graphic than that of a real life horror movie, but it retained the thrill you usually get from horror movies. It got a bit crazy in the end but I think it's worth watching.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
