Yaoi Fun For Everyone

If you're a fan of soft yaoi, you'll like this series. The plot is basically four attractive young men running a patisserie, getting into messes but supporting each other and getting through it, who wouldn't like that?. The story is a tad far fetched, and at times seems like an excuse to thrust the characters into awkward situations. I felt the ending unsatisfying and a little forced. The animation style is quite attractive and very well done in terms of the interaction between the characters and the background, but there were times for me when the background distracted from the foreground figures. The characters could have had more depth, they were a bit too sweet for me. I wish they had messed up the running of the patisserie sometimes, burnt the cakes, burnt the coffee, spilt something, it would have made it more real for me. Overall, good for one viewing, but I don't think I'll watch it again.
