Summary: |
The world consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible. However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exists within it. Satan is the god of demons, but there's one thing that he doesn't have and that's a container in the human world that is powerful enough to hold him! For that purpose, he created Okumura Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans, or will he become something else...? After killing Rin's guardian Father Fujimoto in an attempt to bring Rin back to the Demon world, it led to Rin's journey on becoming an Exorcist in order to defeat Satan. |

Even though it only started airing recently, Ao No Exorcist has immediately been graded into my top 5 best anime. The story line (of the anime) is interesting and intense, and it definitely tends to portray and follow its manga. There aren't too many setbacks regarding the difference between the anime and the manga - everything that has been changed in the anime is too minor and definitely doesn't affect the course of the story. Also, the characters are hilarious! They aren't too serious or too dramatic but rather tend to bring about some of the story's humor. On top of that, they are quite interesting and superbly well animated. In fact, the entire anime can be awarded a high score when it comes to animation - its style isn't the 'never-seen-before' type but it still holds a great deal of originality! When it comes to dialog, it never for a moment stops being interesting - this anime (manga) is everything but boring! It is very understandable and has annotations for side jokes which are super funny! Music is also quite good, there are few songs that are good enough to be remembered..
All in all, this anime has a great deal of potential of becoming Naruto class show (NOTE: Naruto is the awesomest anime (and manga) there is! XD) - it isn't as detailed as Naruto but considering that it merely started a lot can be expected out of it. For all working on Ao No Exorcist - keep up the good work!
