| Summary: |
Moritaka Mashiro, a junior high school student, content to live out a relatively normal life as any other does, is persuaded by his classmate, Akito Takagi, to become an aspiring mangaka when the latter realizes his natural talent as an artist. However, Moritaka is reluctant to pursue his dream as his uncle, once a mangaka with his own serializations, died from overwork trying to regain his lost status. With Akito's help, Takagi gets another classmate and his school crush, Azuki Miho, who is an aspiring voice actress, to voice in the anime adaptation of their future manga once it is completed. However, Mashiro also proposes to Azuki, who surprisingly accepts only on the condition she will marry him when both of them have achieved their dreams. With a goal set before him, Mashiro begins a long and struggling path to become a famous mangaka. |

for any one who's ever considered writing a manga, or any other kind of story for that matter, this about the best motivation avaliable!!!
its about 2 high schoolers who try and write a manga series, and their enthusiasum and dedication is so amazing to watch, that you get pulled along to one of the oddest storylines!!
and it has one of the best lines ever in the first ep- if this dream (an anime from their manga) comes true, will you marry me??
yep. hooked from then on.
its something completly different from death note, and this may disapoint fans of the series, but give it a chance, and you'll see that the story and characters are just as compelling!! if less insane :)
it also serves as an entertaining guide on how to plan out and set out storys.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
