| Summary: |
Okajima Rokuro - now known almost exclusively as 'Rock' - was once a typical, put-upon Japanese businessman. Then, on a routine business trip, he was kidnapped and ransomed by the Lagoon Company: a band of mercenary pirates operating out of the crime-riddled city of Roanapur. Abandoned by his bosses, he joined the Lagoon Company. Now he must try and stay afloat amongst the ever-shifting politics of the criminal underworld, while simultaneously avoiding death at the hands of his quick-tempered, gun-toting co-worker, 'Two Hand' Revy. |

it has it all, bloody violence, generous (and i use that term as an understatement) amounts of action, humor, hot women, and overall amazing story and characters. what's even better is that people have said that it seems to end in this season, but there are so many story arcs created in second barrage that open up this anime to go on for another season or two, the cool part is that as much as i personally hate animes that drag on and on with no apparent sign of ending i don't want this one to end, i have watched every BL episode at least 3 times so far and i'm still itching to watch it again at this very moment

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
