| Summary: |
Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old boy that has an ability to see ghosts/spirits. Because of his ability, he is able to meet a female death god (a.k.a Shinigami) named Kuchiki Rukia. To save his family and friends from unwanted soul-eating spirits (Hollows), Rukia transfers her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. As Rukia takes on a human shell, together they solve mysteries involving spirits and hollows until from the spirit world comes 2 other shinigamis explaining that it is illegal to transfer Shinigami powers to humans and Rukia exceeded the time limit to stay in the human world. After they sentence her death for breaking the laws, Ichigo snaps and swears to everyone he will retrieve Rukia by breaking into the spirit world. |

I must say that when i first watched this amine i absolutely loved it, the horror of invisible foes, and then the adventure to save Rukia was beautiful. The best moment is when Captain Aizen revealed himself as some evil guy. Then after that came the arracnor arc which i was excited for, but as the arc went on i realized there was no longer any strong or gripping story. The show turned into only just fighting, and only more fighting. Although its nice to see action scenes, they are not enjoyable if there is no underlying story. One may argue that there is a story, but i would say there isn't one because its crap. There are no plot twist, no tearful moments, only just ranting. After a while i grew tired of it and then to make things worse they released stupid fillers. Which have nothing to do with the series, Naruto did a much better job with their fillers.
All in all, if you are gonna watch this show watch the first arc only and move on to another anime.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
