I don’t quite know how I made it to the end of this movie. If I had realised there was a TV series, I would have attempted to watch that instead. Scenes are detached and you are left wondering how the characters ended up in the next scene when the proceeding one hasn’t finished. I found the movie dated (although those of you who are into this stuff may find it a classic). It’s not particularly my genre of movie with all the mecha and militant themes throughout; however I don’t think that effected my opinion in saying ‘Blue Gender’ left something to be desired. On the contrary, the movie picks up towards the end if you can make it that far.
