Manga is spectacular - Anime...ok, i guess.

Likes it says in the title the manga is A.MA.ZING! the story is well written, the art in the manga was mind-blowing and it got me so hooked i spent 12 hours on a saturday reading issues 51 to 113.
With that being said, i was excited to watch the Anime, slightly curious about the fact that there are only 26 episodes. i started watching and my first impression is that they rushed it. Everything is jam-packed and it loses some of the emotion that you felt when you read the Manga. By the time it was episode 24 it went on to a different story because they made an alternate ending which was a little disappointing.
In very basic terms, it is about the lowest ranked warrior of a demon-hunting organisation who wants to take the head of the most powerful demon in the Claymore universe. Why? Well, as the story goes on you realize that there is a silent revenge story in the main character's past that becomes her reason for moving forward. (its became more darker then the sasuke and itachi story from naruto, in my opinion)
All in all, it was still awesome to see Claymore animated and if you are a MATURE reader/watcher looking for a good story, then this will not disappoint. (just wait 'till you get to the 'Teresa Arc' *wink*)
