Niwa Daisuke is your average teenager, until his fourteenth birthday. He tries to declare his love to the girl of his dreams, but fails. Suddenly, whenever he thinks about this girl he turns into the legendary phantom thief known as Dark Mousy. Daisuke's mother, very much aware of this, makes him turn into Dark and steal valuable works of art for a purpose unkown to Daisuke. As the story unfolds, he learns why, and about his classmate who seems to have the same ability. |

I really liked this one, although it's completly different from manga. but I enjoyed it :) Daisuke is really nice guy, very sensitive and brave at the same time; Dark has so unsimilar personality and that combination is really interesting. Adding cute twins, Rika and Risa, that they love... and Niwa clan's enemy - Hikari - at the same time the last survival of Hikari, Satoshi, is Daisuke's friend and nice character... It's amusing serie :) D.N.Angel also shows the hidden beauty and mystery in each work of arc, you can feel the magic inside them.
Of course, as always when anime is good, it ends just too fast.
Animation is rather good, but the soundtracks... somehow I didn't like ending songs... Opening was my favourite ;)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
