The first to say is that wherever you look to this anime, it´s FANTASTIC, characters, story, animation, dialogues, and everything else is completely original. And as I said, it "Makes honor to it´s name", because the pscycological aspects of the anime are awesomely developed in a dark-misteryous way, some characters have a bizarre personality and everything in the anime which could seem strange is well justified, sometimes explicitevely, and sometimes in and implicit way...
Really original anime which everyone who knows how to appreciate anime would love, highly reccomend it...
PS: of course, if you watch darker than black - kuro no keiakusha (the first season), you MUST whatch ryuusei no gemini (the second season), and after that you will want to watch darker than black - gaiden, which is the third season and explains better some things that happened between the first and the secon one...

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
