Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. Death Note is easily one of the best anime I have ever seen. I really liked the mind games which were played. It's amazing to see how sharp/aware Light (main character) was of certain situations. Def. a good psychological anime. Has you questioning if Light was truly good or bad and how far should one go to make the world a better place? Has you thinking for sure. There are a good range of characters as well. Highly recommend this .

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
