I have seen all the 13 movies that Detective Conan has to offer and this probably one of the worst. For a Conan movie the story is poor and no KID. They usually has this epic and unique story, but this one is just bad. It was about pirates (hope you understood that when you saw the cover) and was totally unrealistic. It was very easy to guess the ending.

The treasure thing made the whole story weird for a Conan movie. All the murders (sorry for spoil, but this is Conan and there is murders wherever they go) seem to be unplanned and random. It doesn't have the same intensity as normal movies either and was more like a very very long Conan episode. The story had also a bit too much this friendship thingy, which made the mystery less mysterious.

The animation is never bad in Conan movies so there is nothing to complain. It was not worth the time to watch this but I don't regret it watching it, after all I'm a small Detective Conan Fan. If you are truly a Detective Conan then you should absolute watch this movie, for people that don't know who Detective Conan is, this movie will still make a lot of sense to you because you don't need to know the story and the most important parts (like the introduction for characters and stuff) you'll get to see at the start. and Seriously Dectective Conan does not have a complex story.
