Ryuugamine Mikado is a boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city. At the invitation of his childhood friend Masaomi, he transfers to a school in Ikebukuro. Masaomi has warned him about people he doesn't want to cross in the city: a champion fighter, an informant, and a mysterious gang called "Darazu." Nervous from Masaomi's stories, Mikado witnesses an urban legend on his first day in the city, the Headless Rider astride a black motorcycle. From then on, the existence of supernatural cases and a gang called the Yellow Turbans will rise to the surface, and Ikebukuro will pushed to the breaking point.

AWESOME!!!!!! This is a freakingly cool anime.... Glad that i watched it.....
Well, this anime is cool in all aspects..... It always makes you so tense that you could never wait for the next episode... I was so invloved that i completed the whole series in just a day......
Anyway, the story is good, but has an ending that is like left "hanging" :P And the dialogue is good enough, with quite some comedy in it.... then you would never miss the action.... ( Shizuo makes sure of that :P )
And of course, the slice-of-life..... No way, that it can be missed.... Mikado, Kida rock on their friendship.... And Anri looks too cute with Mikado, so cute that it makes me jealous :( (Why cant i have a girlfriend like her :P )
And Selty... of course, she gave me creeps initially, but later on, i felt it was fine enough :)
The points I dint like in the anime were, Selty not getting her head back!!!!! And then, the way the relation-ship between Mikado and Anri was left... Man, they are made for each other, so atleast it could have ended with him professing his love to her!!!
But anyway, what the case be.... It a awesome anime, each and every one can watch this anime.... You guys neednt worry bout the genre... Just watch it... You're gonna fricking like it... no, actually, fricking love it....
