When i first watched this series i was a bit torn between what it was... Kinda a mix of horror/gore and echii comedy love storyish... Just thought it made for a weird mix. I do give it props for the gorey scenes as they are pretty impressive. I got a new appreciation for the whole series only after reading the manga because there was a lot that was left out. Definitely not for the faint of heart. If you like gorey scenes just watch the first episode and you'll be hooked. Not for the faint of heart. O_o
