Elfen Lied is the best anime that I have watched. Even if you have a weak stomach against heavy blood and gore if you watch this enough it grows on you (speaking from experiance). This anime is worth watching because of it's amazing plot, it's a spectrum of emotions in only a few episodes. The gore is uncommon in most anime we see today and even though this anime is nearly 6 years old it still (in my opinion) has some of the best animation. If you have any sense you will watch this, it is practically a legend among anime.
