this anime is an old one but one of my favorites by a long shot. the animation is beautiful and has a style of its own to say the least. the characters are easy to fall in love with as well as the story. Escaflowne is the anime that started it all for me. this is the anime that got me into anime. it has dragons, romance, action, adventure, giant robot warriors, blood, winged people, suspense, and a bit of comedy. this story will keep you craving for more with each episode. it is a very origianal story except the giant robot idea which seems to be in many animes. besides that it will suprise you. for a 26 episode run it is worth the watch. there is also an escaflowne movie that takes the entire anime and squishes it up into one but don't get the idea that it's the same story. while the movie may be like the tv show in the ways that defines it as escaflowne the story is a bit different. for example, in the movie the heroine is emo along with the protagonist male vaan. in the tv series they're easier to love and the story is better to me. it's vast and makes more since. watch the tv series first i'd advise you because the movie will confuse you. i added this section to the anime list and i'll be uploading the files i have though they aren't hd quality or anything. if anyone has better quality ones please upload them. it'll help the site grow along with helping it's members get the best quality out their of thier favorite hard to find show. sit back and enjoy.
