Remake of the 1999 TV series of Hunter x Hunter based on the manga by Togashi Yoshihiro. A Hunter is one who travels the world doing all sorts of dangerous tasks. From capturing criminals to searching deep within uncharted lands for any lost treasures. Gon is a young boy whose father disappeared long ago, being a Hunter. He believes if he could also follow his father\'s path, he could one day reunite with him. |

I really enjoyed the Hunter X Hunter anime series. I believe this anime to be one of the best right up there with Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. I do have to say though that it does not quite reach the pinnacle of DBZ or in other words it does not reach EPIC status. This is due to the fact that just as it gets to a point of exceedingly great proportions the series died, was canceled or something, leaving a cutoff right where you are truly interested in the overall story instead of just... ... ...what should have been a great lead-in. Either way though I give this anime a GREAT rating but since it falls short of excellent I am forced to give a GOOD.
