| Summary: |
Infinite Stratos (IS), a weaponized exoskeleton system, has become the dominant tool of warfare and conflict. Unfortunately for the men in society, only women are able to operate Infinite Stratos... with very few exceptions. One of those exceptions is ORIMURA Ichika, an orphan raised by his older sister who is herself a famous IS pilot. When his compatibility with IS is discovered after he accidentally touches an IS at the age of 15, he's given a scholarship and enrolled in a school that specializes in training IS pilots. Which of course means an... intersting life surrounded by girls for this shy, unassuming boy. |

I wasnt' really sure what to expect given the description. But found that IS was pretty good. Your standard male harem character, where he's somewhat clueless but yet wins the hearts of the girls by looking after them and "doing the right thing".
IS provided a nice twist for the hero though in that he is developing a personal drive to succeed and prove his worth.
The idea for the suits provides a nice sci-fi feel to this anime and after having just run through all 6 episodes, I am wanting to watch more of it.
There is action as the IS units battle, and the story is setting up what could *hopefully* develop into some good subplots regarding international intrigue, espionage, etc. I am hoping this gets fleshed out more.
Great anime, fast watch and leaves you wanting them to hurry up with the next episodes.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
