The Shirakiin house's daughter, Shirakiin Riricho, who has a complex about being unable to live independently and unprotected, feels the need to move out and live on her own under the condition of residing in the mansion named "Ayakashi Kan." In this mansion, only those who have cleared a very strict examination could reside in it, and for each resident, they are accompanied with one agent of the Secret Service (S.S.). Although Riricho has rejected the company of the S.S., while residing in the mansion she finds out that the agent dedicated to protecting her is actually the Fox Spirit whom she previously rescued. |

Inu x Boku SS is a really funny anime. If you've seen Kaichou Maid-sama and enjoyed that, then no doubt you'll find the humor in this anime to be funny. The animation of the chibis and how they're represented in the jokes is what reminds me of Kaichou Maid-sama. The dialogue is splendid. Especially the main character, Ririchiyo, her reactions to situations are absolutely priceless. The animation is very clean, nothing to fancy, the characters look nice, but the backgrounds and such are just "meh." The story is pretty basic stuff here, as far as the romance goes. However the ending is a real nice surprise. I really enjoyed the ending and made the show that much more enjoyable.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
