It's Yui Hirasawa's first year in high school, and she's eagerly searching for a club to join. At the same time, Ritsu Tainaka, a drummer, and her friend Mio Akiyama, a bassist, are desperately trying to save the school's light music club, which is about to be disbanded due to lack of members. They manage to recruit Tsumugi Kotobuki to play the keyboard, meaning they only need one more member to get the club running again. Yui joins, thinking it will be an easy experience for her to play the castanets, the only instrument she knows. However, the other members think their new addition is actually a guitar prodigy... |

Based on the story of a couple of friends from school creating a band, K-On! is one happy and entertaining anime! The music is to note in this anime, as it is really awesome, and you'll find yourself really enjoying it and later searching up mp3 versions of their songs (just go download the whole album). The anime is just so much fun to watch on a gloomy day~!
The characters are just kawaii and hilarious and in K-On!, hardly anything is left boring. Each episode is a new adventure, all jointed into one big adventure that ends (well, not really exactly ends...but) in a big bang! concert that truly shows off the strong bond between these girls.
This is one that you'll be able to really have fun watching, so hope you'll enjoy it!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
