Kuronuma Sawako is nicknamed Sadako due to her resemblance to the girl from the Japanese horror movies "The Ring". Shunned by her classmates, her life starts to change as she befriends Shōta Kazehaya, a very popular boy in her class.
Kuronuma Sawako’s one wish in life is to make friends. That’s a difficult proposition when everyone who meets her cowers in terror. She admires her classmate, Kazehaya-kun, a popular, easygoing and 100% refreshing guy who is nice with everyone, even with her. |

If you seek for some anime that provide you a little smile, this one will do!
With the clear beauty art that make calmness, character design isn't special but have variety expression that can make little smile. This anime is very relaxing.
I like the personality of Sawako, main character, she is look gloomy but she got more optimistic than anyone. That the way that human should be, care for everyone, wishing for something new. That image make me feel relieve.
The story isn't special but make me feel easy to watch, character is simple but cute and freshing, and animation that not bad. The opening song is a ballad that suit with clear art and shiny story. All part is mixing perfect. This is a one top-class anime.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
