* Based on Minami Kanan's Kyou, Koi o Hajimemasu shoujo romance manga.
Tsubaki is a girl who loves making her younger sister's hair pretty every morning, but she doesn't think that kind of style suits herself! The day of her High School Beginning Ceremony, after she failed in being the top student (who usually makes the ceremony speech), she finds herself sitting next to the actual top student of the first years, the worst rude guy ever, Kyouta. She ends up cutting his hair on purpose because of the bad things he says to her. Kyouta demands that Tsubaki pay him back with her body, but Tsubaki fixes his hair instead--making it even shorter! After that, Kyouta unexpectedly kisses Tsubaki and swears that he'll make her his woman. |

i thought the ova will be really interesting but what a let down. it skip soo much i was like...what the heck? if i had never read the manga i would be like, "what just happened here? first, she hates him 'n now she's trying to get him da like her?" it skip sooo much into the story that it didn't make any sense... people, before you watch this ova i think it's best to read the manga cuz than you'll have a better understanding of what the heck is going on. plus, manga is always better. animation is great but everything else suck. i have to say it was a very poor job done.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
