On a detour to his apartments, he notices a girl in a shrine maiden outfit watching him when he visits the shrine. When he was a child, Sana Hidaka left his town, and his childhood friends Aoi, Nanaka and the twins Syou and Syuri held a farewell party, everyone giving presents to him. This is one of the most brilliant love stories I've ever seen.
The story is absolutely top tier. The first few episodes of this anime are fairly light and fluffy, like a typical romance, but after the halfway mark, episode 7, things take a turn for the worse, and the storyline grows quite a bit darker. The pacing of the story is really well done overall, and the ending is a masterpiece. Overall the story, at least to me, isn't a real tear-jerker, but there are moments where you feel the sadness of the characters situations.
The dialogue is what really makes this great. While one of the characters sounds like a dying animal, the rest of the voice actors are spectacular, and they do an excellent job of portraying the raw emotion present in many of the lines.
The animation is extremely well done, and definitely adds to the atmosphere of the anime.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially romance lovers.
