Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

*putting the fillers aside* ( but seriously, what is up with the ridiculous amount of fillers? -.- and there are a few episodes that are mixed with fillers and the main stories. not cool! ) I can see that there are ppl hating on naruto bcoz of the fillers. Relax guys. Just skip the fillers, like I do. I just come back to download naruto when I heard that the fillers are over. B)
I can say that this series has a very unique storyline and twisted plot. I also cry a few times while watching naruto, especially, the part where naruto and sasuke fight each other and the valley of end ( or whatever? ).
At that point, I was really touched by the friendship naruto and sasuke have built. And ever since then, I always hope for sasuke to return to naruto's side. But then, as the story continues, I began to detest sasuke. ( anyone wants sasuke dead? or is it just me? ) Sasuke crushed and belittle my hope. D: I think he was okay until the part where itachi dies. Still okay, until the part he just sacrificed Karin like she was nobody. :'( I never liked Karin myself, but I think it's not fair for her to be treated like that. Basically, Sasuke doesnt deserve a friend like Naruto.
Naruto is now the character I admire the most. His optimism, perseverance and ability to forgive ppl just amaze me. In the anime, they say that Naruto has the power to change ppl, I couldnt agree more. Bcoz, he'd changed me. I used to be not so very fond of him, but now, he's my favourite! GAARA is still my bias tho! xD are bias and favourite the same thing? :/
And I ship NaruxHina! :DD Hinata deserves Naruto more than anyone. She loves Naruto since she was little, despite that everyone was avoiding Naruto at that time, even Sakura. I dun hate Sakura, but I just dont like her so much. :( She keeps on 'naruto this' and naruto that'. It's kinda annoying really.
I'm not sure if there's any hope for sasuke, but if he was to make an epic heroic comeback, it was a suicide for the sake of naruto, like he died saving naruto or something. :DDD
Is this getting too long? :(
Overall, naruto is a series not to be missed! xD

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
