Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

I remember watching the first 9 or 10 episodes of Naruto then waiting for the next episode to come out.
Naruto is the very first anime that isn't so much mainstream (like, an anime with English adaptations such as Dragonball and Pokemon) that I watched. Over the long years I think it's really grown into a great anime with ninjas (who doesn't like ninjas?) and it's really been given thought how nearly every character holds a significant role in the storyline.
Also, for those who hate Naruto/Narutards (this applies to those who hate other anime), I'm not a 'Narutard'. Because guess what, I love One Piece too. Can't we love both? I didn't know there were 'sides' to liking anime. If you're going to dislike an anime, give an actual reason why you dislike it...

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
