Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

It would seem that this show has had some big debate over it and people are getting their feelings hurt becuase somone does/ doesn't like the show. SO I decided to check it out.
I have to say that I have started out on a bad note since I haven't seen the first Naruto so I am lacking a bit in story. Although becuase of the dialouge and ocassional "flashbacks" I have gotten the jist of things. This is an anime that has quite a bit of stand alone eps that I thought were amazing but at the same time there were quite a few that I believe has just turned to filler time. It has it's funny moments but they are hit or miss with me because after sometime things become... repetative I guess i wanna say but I feel its not really that. I get that feeling but then later there is something new tossed in thats funny. So its like a 50/50 on the comdey for me. The dramatic sense is there in full really and the fights add to make the tense feelin go up; but with like almost all animes when it comes to fights they tend to drag on ONE fight WAY to long. With the fights being good you might be able to get over it but sometimes I just want it to end already and carry on with the story.
Dialogue is WAAAAAAY better than the american one. I never saw this stuff aside from the american one and thats what put me off from this show really. Overall in the dialouge its average aand doesn't feel to have anything better or worse than any of the other animes out there.
Animation is jjust about flawless aside from a few things here and there that seem to have been rushed but they are very minimul and better than some other anime out there.
Entertainment ... well to each his own really. In this case it was enjoyable for me to watch and I would suggest everyone try it out and see what they think. For the sake of giving it a try grab a few eps here and there and check out some random eps and see if you get a feel for it.
I liked it but I can't say its my favorite. It's hit or miss with me.
I hope I have shed some light with (HOPEFULLY) a non-biased review.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
