Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto.The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki. |

Well to start off Naruto focuses on all the ninja from the hidden leaf village, however in shippuuden it only focuses on Naruto and squad 7 trying to defeat the akatsuki and rescue Sasuke (who says that he is fine where he is.) Seriously how many times has anyone seen rock lee fight except for the start of shippuden actually it is the same for any of the sand village ninja.
Also Naruto has some of the best fights with Naruto and Sasuke, Rock Lee and Gaara. They were great to watch, however now naruto just keeps on growing tails. Its still entertaining (Sage mode, Pain V Naruto) but it's not as good as him coming from underground and smashing neji.
On top of that way too many people are dying and then coming back to life. Madara is way too strong and Sasuke should have been killed at least 6 times by now. Overall, Naruto Shippuuden is still a fantastic show but it does not compare to its predecessor. After all what made so many people watch Shippuuden was the original Naruto.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
