Nightwalker-Great Entertainment

I originally watched Nightwalker- Midnight Detective when I bought the first two DVDs of the series when it released. I eventually saw some more episodes and I really enjoyed them.

The story is actually the theme of quite a few live action series A vampire Private Detective! There are several series old and new that have used this as a plot and you would think it would be hard to come from an extremely fresh angle just as Nightwalker does.

It has a fresh lineup of varied characters that support the lone protaganist vampire detective. While he has ever interesting actions that pull him into many equally involving events.

The character designs are familiar style that is recognizable as a foundation for many good anime works. The action is good enough to keep the different cases and story elements exciting.

This is just a very unique spin on a familiar type os story with vampires and supernatural events combined with the world of reality. It does so with a good amount of mystery, action and a cast that will make Nightwalker a memorable fun experience. I still remember the times I watched it fondly and am downloading it again for another tour with a familiar ride with the Midnight Detective. Someone you will come to know as a very memorable character.

This is just an all around good anime. Nothing extroidinarily groundbreaking but good art and fresh angle make it a great watch.
