Not what I had expected. An awesome addition to the Nura Franchise

When I watched the very first episode of Nurarihyon no mago I thought "Hmm, cute, but boring". It seemed predictable at first, what with a kid named Nura Rikuo who won't acknowledge his Yokai heritage and the friends he keeps around him to make him feel more human. With that ideal being played around with in the first episode it was enough to make me want to give up on the whole thing - but I kept going AND I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! It has become so addictive I find that I cannot wait for the anime releases and I go straight to the Manga! Gosh! On screen and off Nurarihyon no Mago is good and this second season is awesome to the point of me going back to manga chapters I have already read on this thing. I just cannot get enough of it :)!. The storyline of the second season is really strong and draws you into the action and suspense as well as the history that is the Nura Clan. There are lots of moments of comedy which I love, there are moments of sheer romance and then there is that wonderful moment of absolute perfection when Nura Rikuo becomes a yokai, a ball of charismatic strength and an alpha male to boot. Since Yokais apparently become adults when they reach the age of thirteen I don't really mind the exaggerated age descriptions much, you soon forget his age anyway when you see him in action. This is good, NO, GREAT to watch, expecially if you are into family legends and action adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. YOU HAVE GOT TO WATCH THIS!! OOH and read the manga as well. You won't be sorry.
