Hiromichi Kojima, the star batter of the Lycaons, heads to Okinawa to train and bring himself out of a slump. There, he meets Toua Tokuchi, a 134-kmph/83 mph pitcher and the undisputed king of a gambling form of baseball called "One Out." At Kojima's urging, Tokuchi signs up with the Lycaons. His contract differs form the usual, though, in that he gets 5,000,000 yen for every out he pitches, but loses 50,000,000 yen for every point he gives up. |

This is one of the best anime's i have ever seen in a long time..
It's funny, smart and always keeps you guessing, not predictable or cliche at all!
I love the main character Tokuchi, I honestly generally only like animes with good drawings but this one grew on me even though at first I didn't like the drawings that much, however based on the reviews I stuck to watching it.
You will not be disappointed in this anime every episode you can't wait to watch the next!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
