Summary: |
Fumihiko Matsumaru is an average salaryman with no girlfriend. He invited his colleague Miss Tanaka to a movie but was stood up. Right at the time he was about to toss tickets into a trash can, a cute girl appeared and asked him not to waste those two tickets. After movie and dinner, he escorted her home and found they live in the same neighborhood, yet unfortunately her apartment caught on fire hours later. Having nowhere else to stay, rookie seiyuu Aka Onda moved to Matsumaru's place, and the two had started a "more than friend but not yet lovers" relationship under the same roof while keeping this secret from their employers. |

I don't know how I ended up watching this anime but I was very impressed. The romance in this story was very typical of real life situations.
It's artwork is above average but nothing to write home about. The characters were well drawn but all done very typical of anime characters. No fluid scenes.
The story probably is one of the best romance story put together. What made the story great was the fact that it was 9 episodes and each episode was approximately 12 minutes. This made it like a long movie and no fillers were present. Many of the feelings and situations in the series was pretty much like a real life relationship.
The character design is not the best I have seen because there are typicality in much of the setup such as the manager being a woman taking care of the voice actress who happens to be shy. Many of the characteristics were unbelievable but overall the characters were well done such that if you overlook the typical setup for them then you will see a well constructed character.
Finally, Entertainment. I had to add this part to mention how much I truly enjoyed this anime. While there was nothing unexpected in the story, there was multiple situations where I was able to relate to my past experience with work and relationship. So for someone older, this anime probably comes close to resembling past experiences to watchers, thus enjoying it more.
Watch it... Even if you are not into romance animes, it's short so it wont be a heavy load.
