| Summary: |
Due to poor grades, Tsukune Aono, an average high school student, has been unable to get accepted into any private academy of his choice. By exceptional accident, the only school to accept him turns out to be anything but ordinary; the school is attended by youkai disguised as humans. Fearing for his life, he attempts to escape only to meet Moka Akashiya, a beautiful girl who just happens to be a vampire. Despite this, Tsukune decides to stay at the academy, hiding his human nature from students and teachers. Tsukune also discovers that when the rosary around Moka's neck is removed, her true nature emerges. |

Just like Dai Sato's Cowboy Bebop anime is better than the manga, Rosario + Vampire's manga is better than it's anime.
Unfortunately while the manga starts off light, fluffy and fan servicey then quickly develops a fairly engaging stroy the anime is pretty much the opposite to this.
The anime is not a terrible watch, some good comedic moments and very, very good animation but that's where the good stuff ends, too much fan service combined with massive plot changes and an empty storyline destroys any chance this anime has of being good.
Those that have read the manga will understand how much deeper it becomes in later volumes, those that have only seen the anime will most likely NOT want to read the manga because of it.
Put down the mouse, pull out some money and buy the manga, you'll be pleased
