I am basing this review on the first episode of the series. What I can say for sure is that the animation is stunning, the character design is impressive and the action is great. Despite these great points this anime seems very generic and lacks story and build-up. It hits you right from the start with action, but fails to ease you in or even make you get to know the characters. Instead of watching each episode to find out what happens in the world of the characters, you watch it to see how the main character is gong to destroy the enemy with an over the top super cool move. Awesome powers are awesome, but plain action and a vague, generic plot wont make this a fav. for alot of anime fans. I will continue to watch, because t might become deeper than plain action(plus I love the art work and I tend to give every anime a chance). If you like anime that does not require you to think and want great action I would recommend this. If you want action but also looking for a good story to lead the action other anime do it better. This anime is not bad, but seems it could be developed further.
