Summary: A television commercial from Marvelous Entertainment has announced that an anime has been green-lit for BaseSon's Shin Koihime†Musō: Otome Ryōran Sangokushi Engi adult adventure game for personal computers. The game is spinoff from the Koihime†Musō: Doki—Otome Darake no Sangokushi Engi game, which has already been adapted into a television anime series and a video anime. The franchise re-imagines the classic Chinese historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Sangokushi) as a "moe (fiery), moe (preciously cute) action love comedy" with an almost all-female cast. The Shin Koihime†Musō game was just released in Japan on December 26.

The same Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel also inspired KOEI's game franchise of the same name, KOEI's Dynasty Warriors (Shin Sangoku Musō) spinoffs, and dozens of anime and manga of varying historical accuracy.

i just finished this season and its awesome with the new characters and main
unfortunely just like the first season, the characters that show up seem to only have one episode in appearance except the main characters which I found annoying
all characters are creative and funny to see which means that i would like to see them more often in the series
also some side characters in opening and ending have not even shown up at all which im guessing is very badly done
they were probably planning on them to show but not enough time for voices and because of incoming anime
ending was also upsetting for it didn't end completly
overall nice but needs more episodes per season hopefully there will be a 4th season
