A Modern SOS Brigade

Overrall I usually write lengthy descriptions. But this time I can say this show is a lot like a modern Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, literally. Some friends form a club that's main mission is to take on any missions, tasks, or request that the other students ask of them, that's basically it. I mean it also similar in that way due to the fact that the characters actually perform in a concert later on in the series. There isn't really much of a plot, just different tasks each episode, which apparently gets some fans upset...I don't know why. Not every show has to be an action anime like Bleach or Naruto. I mean, Azumanga Diaoh had no plot at all and yet it won so many fans and become one of Japan's most watched anime.
But I would have to say that unique thing about this show is that the fact that they dissolve the whole "clique" idea that every highschool has. Because over time they make a bunch of friends that are from different walks of life, ex: Otaku, Samurai-crazy, Fat Cheerleader, Yankees, Occult Freak, Jocks, Nerds, etc. Its just nice to know that the three main characters actually respect everyone. Oh yeah, what else adds to the diversity is that the main female lead is also an ex-yankee, the male lead is the typical leader character, while the 2nd male lead is the sexy computer geek (when he takes his glasses off its instant nosebleed). The only issue is that all the characters stick to their main personalities, so its kind of obvious how they're going to act after a while, but still, they do it with much laughter. Which brings me to my final observation....this show is funny as shit. Honestly, they're so modern with their humor, you'll actually have a real laugh at least once in every episode because honestly this show is so dysfunctional and the characters all act like they're on crack. So I hope you enjoy this show because I sure did...and FYI, I don't see why some people actually start comparing this show to Gintama and saying that Sket Dance "Fucking sucks" (well they're made by the same animators). Honestly if you're one of those people, grow a freaking back bone and a brain! All because 2 shows are from the animation team doesn't mean they're the same and should be compared as such! Those two shows have nothing in common so do not compare them and say one is better than the other! It'll be like if someone compared Ultimo and Shaman King, those two manga have nothing in common except their illustrator! Now if someone compared Sket Dance to Meloncholy of Haruhi S. then that would be acceptable, but please people, use your brain and open your heart when you watch this, and you too will see that you like it.
