The series revolves around three teams consisting of a weapon meister and (at least one) human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster, Shinigami (better known as Death God), they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to restart all over again |

This is one funny anime that I'll want to watch again and again. It has some echhi scenes, but not much. The jokes are hilarious. A school life anime with supernatural base. The characters can make you laugh with their words and works. Especially Kid and Black Star. Almost all the characters are likable. Music is OK. Story was great until the very end. When we hear about an unexpected ending, it's usually for the better. But this anime just ruined the ending! But still, it's worthwhile. It's got magic, action, school-life, comedy, good characters - everything to make a great anime, except a great ending!

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
