The series revolves around three teams consisting of a weapon meister and (at least one) human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster, Shinigami (better known as Death God), they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to restart all over again |

Now this anime is THE anime! from the of the characters to the scenery itself, Soul Eater really is worth the time watching. The characters has these really obvious personalities, even a normal person would figure out their profiles from looking at their appearance. the design is good and the plot is so-so. it might get boring in the middle, but it will sure pack a punch in some episodes, i mean you'll laugh a lot in the anime! I also watched the English dub of this anime and i therefore conclude that the syncing of the animation and the dubbers matched, and at a very good quality too. So this is one of those animes that has good English Dubs and Subs. The animation is also splendid and well thought of, and you might even watch it over and over again because of it! This is an entertaining anime that is fit for everyone to watch.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
