Yamato Akitsuki travels to Tokyo alone to study in one of the high schools located within the area. He lives in with his aunt who operates a public bath solely for the ladies in the local district and begins his normal high-school life. One day, he chances upon a girl in school and is immediately mesmerised by her beauty. He is shocked when he realise later that the girl, Suzuka, is actually living next door to him. From then on, Yamato's ordinary life begins to change little by little. |

A Beautiful Sporting Anime

This anime is one of the few sporting anime that really are great to watch. It does not focus that much on sport and leaves enough space to fill in a beautiful blossoming romance sure to make viewers happy. There's no echi, no big harem and no significant plot-lag. It focuses mainly around two high-schoolers - Yamato Akitsuki and Suzuka Asahina who have both entered the same school. This school has a great Field and Track Team and Suzuka is in it. Before school starts, Yamato checked out his soon-to-be school. Inside the gym, he saw Asahina practising although he didn't know who she was. He fell in love then. This story follows the life of Yamato and Suzuka and how their up-down relationship blossoms nad how they handle the track and field team at the same time. They also deal with many other real-life situations. This anime really gives viewers an insight into a romantic yet realistic life of a young high-schooler and is an awesome watch too! I really recommend it to all of you! :D

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
