The ten thousand who have logged onto the as of yet mysterious game 'Sword Art Online' using their Nerve Gear have been forced into this perilous death game and are trapped inside.
Protagonist Kirito, one of the many gamers, has greeted this 'truth'.
He plays as a solo player in the giant castle that is the stage for this game ---- 'Aincrad'.
To meet the conditions of clearing the game and leaving this twisted virtual world, he must get through all 100 floors. Will Kirito have what it takes to clear the game, or will he die trying? |

Sword Art Online is a story following the players of Sword Art, a game that can not be quit or postponed. In the world of Sword Art one may not log off, and so to get out one must win the game, a task not easily undertaken what with its 100 massive floors, monster traps, and the single worst enemy of a player, death, but not game death, real life death!
This anime only has 3eps so far but is looking to be geared towards badassness! This story opens a can of whoop-ass on any other anime to have ever played on this same topic, (EX., .hack).
I consider this to be an artistic and serious look at the possibilities of VR, good and bad. The concept of the type of game and how it's played is awesome and inspiring. While being trapped by a crazy Creator, wannabe GOD, game figure, Moderator is way whacked out.
Take the time and try this one! You will love and approve!
