Tegami Bachi REVERSE is the sequel to Tegami Bachi, so if you really want to understand what's going on, it is best to watch Tegami Bachi first. However REVERSE, like the original series, takes a while to get to the point sometimes. If you ignore all the filler material, then the story really is an amazing one, and all the characters are (mostly) likable. Of course the filler material nevertheless provides great insight into the characters, and even allows the main character to interact with some of the more minor characters that we would otherwise only know in name and brief appearance.
