A very nice anime with good animation. I have read the novel at least three times until the latest volume, and compared to the anime, the novel is still better. Even so, I must give at least 7.5/10 points for Toaru Majutsu no Index for the characters and smart-extremely-long-dialogue, though the plot disappointed me. After the first seven episodes, the rest of the episodes have nothing to do with Index anymore. She even hardly get screen time, and more like one of the supporting characters instead of the main one. So why did they name it after Index, is a wonder to me. And even though they kept saying 'If Science and Magic clash, the epic will happen', as far as we could see, nothing really happened. I know that I'm giving more the negative side than the positive one of this anime, but it really does enjoyable and fun to watch. Not recommended for those under 16s, though, since it has a lot of violent-scenes and some fanservices in almost every episode.
