Really, as an otaku, I can't say that I haven't seen my fair share of anime. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is by far one of my favorite anime movies -- the storyline is absolutely beautiful, and the plot is heart-wrenching once you get to empathize with the protagonist (because trust me, you will). It skillfully employs both humor and seriousness so that you get both sides of a good movie, and trust me, it is an excellent film.
A story of young innocence, loss, and love, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time weaves a timeless story that embeds itself into your soul.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
