Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in the year 1986, during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a secluded island named Rokkenjima (ć
è»ćł¶, Rokkenjima). The head of a wealthy family named Kinzo Ushiromiya, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eight of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are three family members who live there, five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eight family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after people start to get mysteriously murdered. |

So i started watching this anime last year toward the end of fall. With this girl i liked. She's the the one that introduced me to it.
Thanks. :)
Anyway, the anime stats out pretty crazy and grotesque. I freaking loved it from the first episode. Watching at least four or five episodes a night. Until we watched all the available episodes at the time.
Now that there are more episodes i am so stocked.
Trust me you'll like this anime if you like some gore and/or blood. I definitely did/ still do. it has a very conplex storyline (kind of) so play close attention but never the less enjoy it. (^_^)

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
