| Summary: |
The X-Men are a team of elite super-powered mutants gathered by Professor X to protect ordinary humans even as they are persecuted by them. In the wake of the death of one of their own, however, the team has stopped operations for a whole year. Then Professor X receives word of a mutant girl's mysterious disappearance in Japan. Sensing that something larger is afoot, he reassembles the team and sends them to investigate. They uncover a connection between her disappearance and an anti-mutant group known as the U-Men. |

The 3rd part of the Mavel Anime Block is way better than the 1st two (Iron Man - Sucked and Wolverine - Average) anime bocks that came out. The artwork is way different from the first two and the overall quality way better than I expected. Of course the storyline has to revolve about <wait for it.......wait for it> Japan. The first 6 minutes of the fisrt episode had me like, WHOA...this is gonna be good. So now I wait in anticipation every week for this to come out. A very well job done on this one. Let's see how DC top this one once it reaches the American shores.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
