| Summary: |
The world consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible. However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exists within it. Satan is the god of demons, but there's one thing that he doesn't have and that's a container in the human world that is powerful enough to hold him! For that purpose, he created Okumura Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans, or will he become something else...? After killing Rin's guardian Father Fujimoto in an attempt to bring Rin back to the Demon world, it led to Rin's journey on becoming an Exorcist in order to defeat Satan. |

I was rather excited to start this anime since there are quite a few people who praised this anime highly, the first episode was interesting, after that.. it went downhill.
The animation with the blue flames is simply ridiculous, the sword fights and character movements in combat are a joke to other battle-animes and the story just became another copy of so many other son of the devil will be a good guy and every friend of his first beats him up and then becomes his friend. The guys look decent in the anime but what's with the women in this anime, can they be drawn more unattractive than the current ones, no.
I'm not a hater, I simply was reading the reviews of the previous people and so I thought I'd give it a go, well... or those people have a completely other taste or this one of their first animes they ever saw and can't compare it to the "better" ones.
To me, a big dissapointment. People are overrating this anime, if everyone is honest they should admit that the animation is awful for such a new anime and the story isn't fancy, new or refreshing.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
