So this is a tournament based anime about competitive ballroom dancing.
You need to decide your preference for that up front.
I don't know that I particularly cared for the idea myself, however I gave it a shot anyway.
I am glad that I did. The anime is great.

The story is compelling, but I rated it as only good, because there's really not much meat on that bone, however it's about what I'd expect from a 'were doing this and it's a tournament' style anime.

The dialogue is pretty standard fare, nothing intensive or really over the top. I mean this anime doesn't need it's scripting to be anything special as that's not where the show lays its scene. That said, it's not as though the script is bad or anything, and I found the voice acting to be done very well. In all I gave a good.

The animation is where this anime chose to lay its scene, and its done in the characters, more so than anything else. We spend a lot of time in only a couple of places, but location has no real meaning as it is the characters that matter here. While scenes are sparse, that doesn't mean its bad, its just not prominent. The characters are built up more in-depth than is really needed unless we are gonna get another season, which I hope we do get. I approved of the use of facial extremes to show who the characters are and how we would see them. I think all together the animation was well done and excellent was the best grade for this anime.

Entertainment wise....well to each their own....

I liked the show. I liked the characters. I liked the progression. I had fun. I want to see a second season.
I grade the show an excellent for entertainment on these factors, and maybe others as well.
