okay, this anime is not related to Blood the last vampire or Blood+.
it has nice Op Ed song, the animation is good & in quality as expected from Clamp
The story line is kinda hard to catch as if its line suddenly jump to middle & end of the story anyway.
it sure have the Clamp feel with the Twin sister, an unknown wish granting shop are mention but it has added some bloody gore battle (something new it seem from Clamp )
the character are draw out decently but it seem there was someone exceptionally tall but it much better proportion ( read more)

new anime for old catagory.
Poor entertainment anime.the progress of the action is slow.The story is old.

I love the look of this but thats where it ends its not like blood+ and it seems shes not even a vampire and if shes not then how can it be even in the same area as blood. Ill give it a few more eps but if it keeps going the way it is then Im not giveing this crappy spin off any more of a chance.

first few episodes i find it rather slow and not that interesting except for the fighting part. Every characters have a lot of similarities with CCS (cardcaptor sakura) minus having a brother.

Ok, so I get it that it's made by CLAMP and that it has it's unique style. However as much as I don't mind the new art direction in Blood series I don't really get what kind of audiance are they trying to convince to watch it. In Blood + Saya was a highschool girl that tried to live a normal life. Suddenly all her world was turned upside down as she uncovered the truth about her past.
The plot maybe wasn't the greatest and it sometimes annoyed me how weak she could be but I honestly enjoyed the moments when her anger and true nature took control ( read more)

Now they re-booted the series and I honestly doubt that the fans of Blood: The Last Vampire or the mentioned Blood + will like it. In the first episode Saya is introduced as a sweet (to much...) and incredibly clumsy girl living with her father. We get to see some highschool drama that isn't so bad and get a brief view on her friends. Funniest thing is they actually look and behave more interesting than she.
After that if we survied more than half of this episode we are being rewarded with a huge... slap in the face. Saya comes back home only to meet her father who tells with a straight face that there is something she needs to kill. And she accepts it by turning into a super, NOT SO CLUMSY ANYMORE ninja/samurai killing machine (wtf, was she acting all this time?). Maybe the fight wasn't so bad but the monster was. Hello! Where are the chiropterans?! Why is she fighting a statue?
Anyway somehow she survives and fully covered in blood comes back to her "dad", turning into her old, irritating self again (that's so cheap...). Now that I mention it, I wonder what HE was doing all this time? Drinking tea?
If You enjoyed the old "Blood" I suggest staying away from this. ( show less)

realy not that impressive... (episode 1)
and do they realy use that black school uniform in japan? that looks kinda gothic... Lets just hope it gets better with more episodes :D
